River Rock Café - On fine days, the sun deck at the River Rock Café is the ideal spot to take a break from the slopes. You can dry off, fuel up on food or drinks, admire the mountain views and bask in the sun. What's more you barely have to leave the snow. It is just a few steps from the Gunbarrel Express chairlift at Friday Flat.

Rivers Restaurant-This popular restaurant will appeal to both families and couples. Located at the River Inn near Friday Flat, it's quiet and relaxing, yet informal. The menu is comprehensive, and there are several options for kids. The list of appetising main meals has something for every taste.

For kids 5-14 years

K*I*D*S K*L*U*B has been designed for all the Kids staying at the River Inn in Thredbo. This program started Winter 1999, and was designed on providing FUN activities to entertain and allow the kids to meet other kids and enjoy their holiday in Thredbo and in the River Inn. All the activities will be supervised by qualified co-ordinators that will ensure safety in a controlled environment. Parents are required to fill in a registration form to allow kids to participate. (additional charge applies).

Weddings
Congratulations! You have just found an extraordinarily unique wedding site. If you want to design your own wedding and share your wedding event with your friends and family over a two or three day weekend in Thredbo, you won't find a more accommodating wedding location and hosts. Conferences

The Conference room is designed to meet the needs of small, medium and large sized business groups. River Inn pride their venue on the level of personalised service that is offered. The goal is to ensure that your conference or seminar is a success! A fully furnished, well-lit conference room is offered that is ideal for casual meetings, seminars, workshops and business conferences. There are separate breakout rooms close by for group workshops and brainstorming. All audio-visual equipment is provided and venue hire is complimentary for the duration of the conference. Conference seating can be arranged to your specifications (U style, Classroom style, and boardroom style). Menus can be designed to suit your group needs and budget for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Special events and functions can be easily catered.

Getting to Thredbo

Road - Thredbo is 5-6 hours drive from Sydney and 7 hours from Melbourne via the beautiful winding (fully sealed) Kosciusko Alpine Way. From the South Coast and Canberra it takes 2.5 hours + to reach Thredbo.

Flying - The nearest commercial airport is Cooma, 85 km from Thredbo. Taxi or car hire is available. Horizon Airlines flies from Sydney. Virgin Blue and Qantas fly to Canberra. Transfers from both airports are available.
