Heidi's is one of the closest lodges to the ski slopes but if you're not a skier or you need a break during the day, it is so easy to return to Heidi's for a rest. There is no trudging up the hills or waiting for transport to get back to Heidi's. Have a hot chocolate in the comfort of the guest lounge, relax and watch the action on the ski slopes. Then when you are ready, just snap on your skis and off you go again.

Heidi's features include a cocktail bar, games area with pool table and darts board, on-site parking, and an open fire in the guest lounge. There is also free on site parking, drive to the front door. Take advantage of our perfect position which offers unsurpassed views of Smiggin Holes - a great place to sit and watch the skiers and if you feel you need a break during the day, just ski back to Heidi's for a rest. Snowy Gums

Snowy Gums offers the perfect 'On Snow Alpine Experience' for everyone - on snow accommodation nestled amongst the snowgums at Smiggin Holes. Discover the grandeur of Snowy Gums - come and stay with us. Snowy Gums is a two minute walk from the lifts, so you can come and go as you please without waiting for oversnow transport. As well valet parking gives you a hassle free holiday.

Snowy Gums features a sauna and large spa pool, open log fireplace with guest lounge television/reading room, pool table, ski and drying room. After a day on the slopes, meet friends, sit around the open fire and enjoy a drink in 'Cascades' Cocktail Bar, then dine at our licensed restaurant, 'Waterfalls'. All rooms have central heating, private ensuite, tea and coffee making facilities, views of the surrounding snowfields and are serviced daily. Baggage storage is available for early arrivals. For extra guest convenience, free parking (limited to 1 car per room) is available. In addition, vehicular access to Snowy Gums for drop off or pick up of guests and luggage is via Willow Road (last road on the right after the car park) and limited to 5 minutes standing time. When Willow Road is covered with snow and ice, all cars must use snow chains (4WD exempt).

Snowy Gums Apartment
Snowy Gums has a fully furnished modern 2 bedroom self-contained apartment capable of sleeping 5 persons minimum and 7 persons maximum. This luxury apartment features a large lounge, dining room and modern kitchen and offers total privacy with quick access to all of Smiggin Holes and Perisher Blue Resorts. The apartment boasts television, in-house videos, microwave, stove, fridge, crockery, cutlery, quality linen and towels. Free overnight parking is included and bookings are essential.

How to get to Heidi's and Snowy Gums
Perisher Blue is an easy 5.5 to 6 hour drive from Sydney or 7 hours from Melbourne with half the distance on freeway standard roads. From Jindabyne access by road to Perisher, Smiggins and Guthega is via the Kosciuszko Road, with snow chains required to be carried by all vehicles past the National Park entrance. It's an easy half hour drive from Jindabyne in good weather. Between June 1 and October 10, motorists are legally required to carry properly fitting chains in any vehicle in a "snow-ice" risk section within the National Park.

If flying in to Canberra or Cooma coach or limousine transfers can be arranged to Jindabyne with a transfer to perisher valley.
