The fully licensed restaurant and bar has been part of Thredbo folklore for several decades. Boasting the same unsurpassed views as your bedroom, the restaurant and bar is featured by an open fireplace. European beers and imported Schnapps are on offer and the restaurant is well known in the village for their traditional Swiss style cheese fondues. For those sometimes important, not to be missed occasions we also have Austar television in the bar.
A feature of any stay at Candlelight Lodge is to join all other patrons in the bar and balcony to watch the Thredbo ski school ski down the mountain in the weekly flare run before fireworks light up the mountain. This event occurs every Saturday night during the ski season at 6pm.

Located in the heart of Thredbo behind the Thredbo Alpine Hotel, Candlelight Lodge is just a short stroll to the Thredbo Valley Terminal. The courtesy shuttle
bus stops directly outside the front door for those either too tired after a
long day skiing or those keeping their energy for the long day skiing.
