Accommodation at Kara's Apartments Thredbo
During the ski season, Kara’s is the ideal place to unwind and relax after an exhilarating, fun filled day on the slopes of Thredbo.

All apartments are self-contained and have fully equipped kitchens with microwave, oven and fridge, television with in-house videos, DVD's, linen, crockery, cutlery and fresh towels supplied daily. All rooms have balconies with great mountain views. After a long day on the slopes the sauna is the ideal place to unwind! The 2 bedroom and 4 bedroom apartments also have a dishwasher and spa bath. There is an in-house sauna on the premises. Cots are provided free of charge (please bring your own cot linen). For those guests that need to bring work with them, wireless internet is available.

Studio apartment can sleep 3 people 2 bedroom apartment can sleep 6 people 4 bedroom apartment can sleep 10 people Studio Apartment (Sleeps 2) - 1 x king bed or 2 x single beds (rollaway bed avail. at additional cost) separate kitchen and bathroom 2 Bedroom Apartment (Sleeps 6) - 1 x double bed or 2 x single beds in first bedroom, 2 x bunk beds (i.e. 4 x singles in second bedroom). 1 bathroom with spa bath, 2 toilets, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. 4 Bedroom/3 bathroom Fireplace apartment (Sleeps 10) - This extremely comfortable two storey apartment is ideal for 2 families or a group of friends. Downstairs features a lovely cosy lounge room with rock fireplace, 42” plasma television and a large dining table with seating for 10 persons. There is also a separate kitchen and bathroom with shower on the lower level. Upstairs there are 4 x bedrooms, the main bedroom features a king bed, ensuite bathroom and a Plasma television. The 2nd Bedroom features a king bed. The other 2 bedrooms are smaller and ideal for kids, one bedroom has a bunk bed (i.e. 2 singles) and the other has 2 bunk beds (i.e. 4 singles). There is a 3rd bathroom on the upper level with separate toilet and small spa bath. Rented Saturday to Saturday during July and August. **Please Note: Special Bedding Requirements for Studio and 2 Bedroom Apartments must be arranged prior to arrival. Bedding cannot be changed after arrival.

There is no parking on the premises and all vehicles are required to park in the Thredbo overnight car park (free of charge). There is a shuttle bus stop across the road accessing ski slopes however all shops/restaurants are within short walking distance.

Note: Our summer guests spend endless hours enjoying all the wonderful activities the snowy mountains have to offer including, golf, tennis, swimming, hiking, fishing, bike riding, sailing on Lake Jindabyne and horse riding, to name a few. Most of these activities are just a short stroll from your apartment at Kara’s - Thredbo

Office hours - In Winter 4.00pm-6.00pm daily. We do not have set office hours in summer please call in advance to advise of your expected arrival time, so there is someone to greet you on arrival. If you are arriving before 4pm please let us know well in advance, we may be able to assist you with an earlier check-in. We cannot guarantee that rooms will be clean and available for check-in prior to 4pm. If you intend to arrive after 6pm please phone ahead and make arrangements.

Security bond- Kara's Apartments requires a $500 cash security bond per apartment and this bond must be paid on arrival before room keys are issued. Credit cards will only be accepted with prior management approval.

Getting to Thredbo
Road - Thredbo is 5-6 hours drive from Sydney and 7 hours from Melbourne via the beautiful winding (fully sealed) Kosciusko Alpine Way. From the South Coast and Canberra it takes 2½ hours + to reach Thredbo.

Flying - Virgin Blue and Qantas fly to Canberra. Transfers and car hire are available.
