when you like. A holiday at Kasees is something special - you can meet
other guests by the cosy log fire in the lounge, revive yourself in the
Finnish sauna, or just relax in the privacy of your own unit and enjoy the
fantastic mountain views.
If tired after a day on the slopes the shuttle bus stops directly outside
and you'll find all resort amenities easily accessible. The views from
Kasees are fantastic and you can watch the famous flare run from your
balcony on Saturday night.
Accommodation
All apartments consist of 1 bedroom plus a bed-sitting room and there is
one studio apartment. All apartments come with bathroom and kitchen.
Kitchens are fully equipped with stove, microwave convection oven,
refrigerator, cookware and utensils. Each apartment has ensuite, central
heating and also television, DVD and clock radio. All linen and doonas are
supplied and apartments are serviced daily for guests' convenience. All
apartments face the mountain and have stunning views. They also have
balcony/outdoor access.
Kasees comprises 6 apartments that can take 2, 3 or 4 persons, one studio
apartment for 2 and one apartment that takes 4-5 persons. For the comfort
of guests, Kasees does not encourage extra persons in each apartment. There
is a surcharge for an extra bed.

Location
From Jindabyne, take the Alpine Way turnoff to Thredbo. Continue along the
Alpine Way for approximately 30km, until you see the main turnoff to the
village. Continue on past this for another 1.5km until you see a second
turnoff which descends into the village. This is Banjo Drive. Kasees is the
second building on the left as you descend.
From Victoria, Banjo Drive is the first entrance to Thredbo that you will
come to on the Alpine Way.
Getting to Thredbo
Road - Thredbo is 5-6 hours drive from Sydney and 7 hours from Melbourne via
the beautiful winding (fully sealed) Kosciusko Alpine Way. From the South
Coast and Canberra it takes 2.5 hours + to reach Thredbo.
Flying - The nearest commercial airport is Cooma, 85 km from Thredbo. Taxi
or car hire is available. Horizon Airlines flies from Sydney. Virgin Blue
and Qantas fly to Canberra. Transfers from both airports are available.
