Cottage Accommodation
The unique shape of the cottages enables panoramic views of up to 270 degrees. Sit back in the evenings, turn off the lights, snuggle up on the couch and watch the heavens unfold. Floor to ceiling windows facing south allow for spectacular views both during the day and the evenings.

The kitchen of each cottage is totally self contained. If you wish to eat in you will find all the necessary bits and pieces. There are however, places to eat nearby if your idea of a holiday does not include cooking.

The bathroom in each cottage contains a porcelain spa bath and separate shower. The hand basin is a locally hand made ceramic bowl. Also included is a washing machine and dryer for those guests who stay longer.

The design of each cottage is open plan. The kitchen and living area is one large room. These cottages are quite large and easily cater for 4 people although we cater primarily to couples. Floor to ceiling windows frame Great ocean road views at their best.

The rear view of the cottages gives meaning to our name. This unique design enables guests to have magnificent views which would otherwise not be possible in a traditional dwelling.

Location
These Johanna cottages are situated on the corner of the Great Ocean Road and Johanna Red Road in Victoria's Otway Ranges and is the only accommodation for couples in the Johanna region. All have sweeping views over the Johanna Valley and the Great Southern Ocean. Three hours from Melbourne and 35 kilometres west of Apollo Bay the Boomerangs are only 45 minutes from the 12 Apostles, 10 minutes to the township of Lavers Hill and 20 minutes drive to the Otway Fly; the longest and tallest rainforest canopy walk in the world.
