Accommodation at Waterholes Guest House
Waterholes Guest House is separated from the main dwelling by a short walk through the garden, and is designed to delight in every way! Each of the guest rooms has en-suite facilities, which includes both an extra large bath and a shower. Private balconies provide a delightful spot to breakfast. King size luxury beds are only one feature of rooms generous enough to live in. A lounge room/library offers a congenial place for guests to socialize, or just to relax with a book (snuggled up in front of the fire in winter).

Waterholes Guest House Information
CD Player, pool table, games, books and open fire all in guests sitting room. Quality linen and towels is provided in suites. Iron, ironing board and washing machine are available for guests use. Dining table to seat 12 in guests in the dining room. Bicycles and "Inner tubes" for fun on the River are also available.

Waterholes Guesthouse is not waterfront but is located on the beautiful Waterholes River just a short walk from the suites. Total seclusion is offered at Waterholes Guest House. Spotlight walks at night with lots of native wildlife. Rail-Trails and walking tracks. Major Historical significance.

NOTE Breakfast is included in the tariff. All other meals are provided at Waterholes Guest House which you will pay for on departure. The retreat location of the property makes this the ultimate dinner party location, accommodation and restaurant all rolled in to one. Dining in suite can be arranged. You will be consulted before arrival of your dietary preferences and needs. Waterholes Guesthouse is BYO alcoholic beverages only.

Located on pristine upper reaches of the Nicholson River, we are genuinely different and special in every way. We are the same distance from Melbourne as Lakes Entrance, and a stay here is the perfect way to either complete or begin your exploration of the Great Alpine Road. Waterholes is also an excellent way to round off your boating holiday on the lakes.

Waterholes can be accessed by travellers who are not self-driving or who feel unsure about driving on unsealed bush roads. Waterholes Guest House offers a pickup service for non-drivers, and a 'Park and Pickup' service for drivers, which cost approximately $30. Waterholes also taxi people to social functions in or around Bairnsdale if they do not wish to drive, for the same price.
