Day 1 - Broome to Fitzroy Crossing
We set off on our journey heading north to Willare Bridge, we cross the mighty Fitzroy River, before arriving at Fitzroy Crossing. After a picnic lunch at Geikie Gorge we join the National Park Ranger for a cruise through Geikie Gorge down the Fitzroy River, spot sea fossils, crocodiles, exotic birds and other native animals. From here it’s a short drive to the Fitzroy River Lodge for our overnight stay which includes a campfire barbecue dinner. (LD) Accommodation: Fitzroy River Lodge, furnished safari cabins, ensuite.

Day 2 - Fitzroy Crossing to Bungle Bungle Ranges
We pass through Halls Creek and make a brief stop at the unusual geological formation, China Wall. Now we tackle the rugged road into World Heritage listed Purnululu National Park, home of the Bungle Bungle Ranges. This afternoon enjoy an easy paced walk into the stunning Echidna Chasm, known for its towering Livistonia Palms. (BLD) Accommodation: Bungle Bungle Bushcamp, safari tents, share bathroom facilities.

Day 3 - Bungle Bungles to Kununurra
We travel to the southern side of the Bungle Bungles Massif to take an easy to moderate 3 km walk into Cathedral Gorge. While here enjoy the short domes walk allowing you to inspect the Bungle Bungle domes up close. Now there is the opportunity to complete your Bungles experience and see it from the air, on one of the following scenic flight options (additional cost):

Scenic Helicopter Flight - (additional cost)
Scenic Fixed-Wing Flight to Kununurra - (additional cost) (This option avoids the rugged 4WD road and allows free time in Kununurra prior to rejoining the group later in the afternoon). (BL) Accommodation: Kununurra Country Club, or similar (motel room, ensuite).

Day 4 - Kununurra to El Questro Wilderness Park via Wyndham
Join a cruise this morning from Kununurra up the Ord River to Lake Argyle, afterwards visit the Ord River Irrigation Scheme plantations and Ivanhoe Crossing. Leaving Kununurra travel toward the coast and visit the historic port town of Wyndham. From Five Rivers Lookout enjoy afternoon tea and breathtaking views of the port and the five rivers ‘King, Pentecost, Durack, Forrest and Ord’ which all flow into Cambridge Gulf. Later set off along the infamous Kimberley stock route the ‘Gibb River Road’ through the Cockburn Ranges. Marvel at the stunning scenery and rugged ranges that formed the dramatic backdrop for Baz Luhrmann’s epic movie ‘Australia’. This afternoon enjoy a cold beer or a swim in the pool before dinner. Accommodation: El Questro Wilderness Park, Emma Gorge (deluxe tented cabin, ensuite)

Day 5 - El Questro to Home Valley Station
Enjoy an early morning walk (easy) to Zebedee Hot Springs for a soak in the thermal springs. We briefly rejoin the Gibb River Road passing through the Pentecost Ranges, arriving at Home Valley Station, located at the foot of the spectacular Cockburn Range and bordered by the mighty Pentecost and Durack Rivers. This afternoon is free to relax or explore the 700,000 acres of natural wilderness. We finish the day watching sunset while enjoying sparkling wine and nibbles. Tonight enjoy dinner, some Kimberley hospitality and live music in the legendary Dusty Bar and Grill. (BLD) Accommodation: 2 nights at Home Valley Station, Guesthouse, ensuite

Day 6 - Home Valley Station Activities
After a hearty station breakfast, Home Valley’s resident horseman will provide an informative talk and demonstration on horse training and horsemanship. Following morning tea either enjoy the afternoon at leisure (laze by the pool or relax under a tree with a good book) or choose one of the optional Station activities including Barra Fishing, Bird Watching, Day Spa or Aboriginal Cultural Talk (own expense). Day 7 - Home Valley to Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge
Continuing along the Gibb River Road we visit Bindoola Falls and one of the station’s Aboriginal art sites. Next stop will be at Galvan’s Gorge (20 min easy walk) for lunch and a swim, and then we journey into the King Leopold Conservation Park to Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge for our overnight stay. Relax with a glass of sparkling wine as we watch the sun set over the King Leopold Ranges. (BLD) Accommodation: Mount Hart Wilderness Lodge, share bathroom facilities

Day 8 - Mitchell Plateau to Kimberley Quest II
Enjoy a scenic flight to the Mitchell Plateau from Mount Hart before joining an unforgettable helicopter flight over the spectacular Mitchell Falls. Land aboard your home for the next seven nights while anchored in the Hunter River. (BLD) Accommodation: 7 nights aboard Kimberley Quest II.

Day 9 - Prince Regent River
Visit Careening Bay before cruising down the Prince Regent River to King Cascade Waterfalls. (BLD)

Day 10 - Camp Creek, Hanover Bay
We take a tender to Camp Creek for a swim, bird watching or to try your hand at fishing. (BLD)

Day 11 - Camden Harbour, Kuri Bay and Deception Bay
Visit Camden harbour then cruise past Kuri Bay Pearl Farm before your afternoon at Deception Bay. (BLD)

Day 12 - Doubtful Bay, Sale River
Cruising through Doubtful Bay we enter the Sale River and take a dip in an ancient rainforest pool. (BLD)

Day 13 - Talbot Bay, Montgomery Reef
Witness the amazing tidal movements created by Montgomery Reef. Cruise to the Horizontal Falls where water trapped in Talbot Bay creates a unique spectacle. (BLD)

Day 14 - Buccaneer Archipelago
Cruise through the Buccaneer Archipelago to Crocodile Creek then across King Sound passing Cape Leveque around sunset. Overnight start to cruise back to Broome. (BLD)

Day 15 - Cape Leveque to Broome
Arrive into Broome at approximately 7.00am. After breakfast it’s time to farewell the crew of the Kimberley Quest II before being transferred to your Broome accommodation. (B)
