Accommodation
All rooms feature individual ensuites, ducted air conditioning, Edwardian period furniture and decor, cable televisions, ceiling fans, refrigerators, tea making facilities, CD players and internet access. All Manor Executive rooms feature a queen size bed and single or double showers. The Manor Suites feature king or queen size beds a spa bath or bath.

Rooms 1-3 are located on the ground floor. Rooms 4-10 are on the first floor. All have access to their own private verandah areas through French doors. Rooms 11 and 12, on the second floor, have panoramic views from the Juliet in-roof balconies.

Room 1 - The Mistress's Manor Room - A ground floor suite with French doors, grand original ceiling and fireplace and complimented with Edwardian cedar furniture. This room was originally the Head Mistress's office when the manor house was the North Coast Girls College in 1925.

Room 2 - Manor Garden Spa Suite - This large ground floor room features a bathroom with large spa bath and separate double shower. It has a king size bed and a spectacular turn of the century Kauri pine suite. French doors open out onto its own covered verandah and beautiful gardens. Pure luxury.

Room 3 - Manor Fountain Room - This spacious ground floor room has its own ramp and verandah access. There is a bathroom suitable for disabled persons with a queen size bed and also a single or carer's bed, which enables disabled or elderly guests with mobility problems to enjoy Ballina Manor in safety and style. Delightful views over the fountain courtyard.

Room 4 - Manor Courtyard Room - An intimate first floor room with its own private verandah overlooking the beautiful courtyard and featuring Edwardian Kauri pine furniture. Guests can enjoy early 20th century living with an extensive continental breakfast served in the Manor dining room.

Room 5 - Manor Art Nouveau Room - A gracious and distinctive first floor room decorated with genuine Art Nouveau furniture. Features a queen size bed, and a bathroom with a large double shower. This unusual room features stunning garden and courtyard views from its private verandah. Pure decadence.

Room 6 - The Governor's Suite - Original Edwardian classic oak furniture adorns this top-of-the-line Manor room. There's a luxurious bathroom with dual shower and separate large bath, a brass king size bed and French doors leading onto the verandah where guests will love the magnificent hinterland views.

Room 7 - Manor Walnut Suite - Yet another distinctively different room with its dramatic Walnut Edwardian furniture and a rare brass and iron queen size bed. This suite has a separate sitting room and is able to sleep 3 guests if required. The spacious bathroom features a double shower. French doors lead out to the verandah with views over Ballina. This suite is ideal for longer stays.

Room 8 - Manor Cedar Room - Edwardian Cedar furniture of course and an unexpected beautiful queen size sleigh bed. This suite has a lovely sunny northerly aspect with views to Ballina's hinterland. The bathroom has a double shower. French doors lead out to the private verandah.

Room 9 - Richmond Spa Suite - This delightful first floor room features Kauri pine furniture, a queen size brass bed and large bathroom complete with dual spa bath, perfect for two. There's a separate shower too. The private verandah overlooks the Manor's beautiful courtyard. The ideal 'getaway and indulge' room.

Room 10 - Paris Spa Suite - Decadence and luxury is alive and well! Here is the perfect honeymoon or anniversary venue. Stunning French period furniture, a king size four poster bed and of course a bathroom with a two person dual spa bath and separate shower. French doors lead out to your private balcony with romantic northerly views.

Room 11 - The Juliet Suite - The perfect suite for romantic Romeos and Juliet's. With its raked ceilings, dormer windows and doors and two intimate Juliet balconies with beautiful country and water views, romance is definitely in the air. There's a brass queen size bed and a lavish bathroom featuring a two person bath and separate dual shower.

Room 12 - The Captain's Room - With its attic style raked ceilings, dormer windows and doors, this suite is ideal for couples desiring luxury and privacy. The Juliet in-roof balcony gives spectacular views over the hinterland and Ballina's clocktower and Richmond River . There's a brass queen size bed and the bathroom features a two person shower.

The Manor Restaurant is open to the public and in-house guest for breakfast and dinner 7 days a week and is famous for its sumptuous seafood platter. Lunch functions for a group of minimum 10 people can also be catered for by prior arrangement.

Ballina has 32kms of perfect white sandy beaches, great surfing, fantastic fishing and glorious countryside. Ballina is a 20-minute scenic drive from Byron Bay, 1 hour south of the Gold Coast and just 1hour direct flight from Sydney.

Directions from Brisbane
Take the South East Freeway then Pacific Highway following the signs to Ballina. Continue into town centre (River Street). Head down towards the river and when you get to the waterslide and pool, turn left into Norton Street. Ballina Manor is two blocks down the road on the right hand side.

Directions from Sydney
Follow the Pacific Highway towards Hornsby. Before Hornsby (at Wahroonga) take the F3 Freeway. Travel along the freeway to the end and continue along the Pacific Highway towards Ballina. Continue into town centre (River Street). Head down towards the river and when you get to the waterslide and pool, turn left into Norton Street. Ballina Manor is two blocks down the road on the right hand side.
