ECOTREK was established in 1982. Our mission is to enable people to
experience a unique interaction with nature while leaving little to no
impact on the environment. At all times we adhere to minimal impact
practices and strive to educate people about sustainable activities in
natural areas while providing quality interpretation. German, French and
Italian speaking guides can be arranged.
Experience the nature of the Flinders Ranges, Kangaroo Island, Wilpena Pound
and Arkaroola, Bogong High Plains, Canberra, Mount Kosciusko, Cooper Creek,
Coongie Lakes, Barossa Valley, Clare Valley and the Great Ocean Road. Our
groups are always small, providing full attention to client's needs, safety,
enjoyment and minimal environmental impact.
Cycling: Our tours have manageable distances for relaxed cycling, and
include stops at interest points, wineries, galleries and cafes. Our backup
vehicle is always there for resting cyclists and to collect your purchases
of wine and art works or other souvenirs of your memorable holiday.
Walking: Join one of Ecotrek's regular three to ten day tours in
Southern Australia's best walking areas and national parks. Our trips will
be enjoyed by everyone who enjoys good health and is reasonably active.
Canoeing: Visit the quiet backwaters of the Mighty Murray River
system, through the Glenelg River National park or the desert wetlands of
Cooper Creek and the Coongie Lakes. Canoeing in the outback each region
provides a rich diversity of landscapes and bird life.
