Encounter mountain history and a wonderful array of wildflowers on easy walks into several old cattlemen's huts on the Bogong High Plains. The oldest, Wallace's Hut, dates back to 1889 and is classified by the National Trust.

These rustic old buildings set amongst snowy gums, provide fascinating destinations for our walks. Walk with daypacks only. No big climbs but fantastic views-a great introduction to the Alpine National Park.
