Each Easter and November we conduct a four day canoe tour in the Chowilla region of the River Murray where an extensive system of backwaters straddles the State borders of Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia. It is an ideal venue for a leisurely canoe tour; beautiful, safe and abundant bird life. Canoe travel is the ideal way to explore the many channels, paddling through the billabongs and anabranches lined with majestic red gums. We find Aboriginal canoe trees and prolific wetlands bird life on our gentle journey.

We teach you the basic skills of canoeing, before setting off with our camping gear and food on board, to camp at a quiet spot along the river. You need no previous canoeing experience.
