When peace and quiet is what Mum and Dad desire our experienced Kids Club staff are at hand to entertain with plenty of great activities for the children. They will enjoy an array of supervised activities ranging from a treasure hunt, arts and crafts, face painting, fish/bird feeding and more! Our professional qualified Kids Club staff care for children from 4 to 14 years of age all year round (during low seasons Kids Club operation subject to minimum numbers). There is no charge for this service, it is provided to ensure everyone can enjoy all the wonders of Long Island Resort. Parents can even enjoy a quiet dinner with Kids Club catering for kids at dinner time too. Club times and sessions vary according to season. If your child is under the age of 4 years, we can organise Baby-sitting in your room for an additional charge. Baby sitting is done by off duty, professional staff in the comfort of your hotel room.

Palms Restaurant - Whether you have chosen an ‘all-inclusive’ or ‘bed and breakfast’ package, we can provide you with three delicious meals daily. Breakfast and Lunch meals are presented buffet style guaranteeing a wide range of tempting treats. Start your day with a beautiful continental or hot cooked breakfast buffet served from 6.30am – 10.00am daily. Enjoy a sumptuous hot and cold selection lunch from 12.00am – 2.00pm daily. Seating times for Dinner commence at 6.00pm. At dinner help yourself to our ‘soup and salad bar’ and order from the A la carte menu. Long Island is located within the Whitsunday's Islands group on the north eastern coast of Queensland, Australia. Access is via flight into Hamilton Island and launch transfer to Long Island or via launch transfer from Shute Harbour (via Airlie Beach) on the mainland. Transfers are also available from other Islands within the Whitsunday's.
