Your informative and knowledgeable guide will collect you from your Sydney hotel, as we commence our private journey to explore the unique South Coast of NSW. We head to the south of Sydney, passing through the Royal National Park, the world’s second oldest national park, which has also recently been added to the list of National Heritage. At Coolangatta Estate we stop for a delicious lunch, tasting all the regional flavours and matching them with the wine from their own vineyards. Once we arrive at Jervis Bay and check in to the accommodation at Paperbark Camp, we have the rest of the afternoon to explore the many beaches around the area, or even participating in the many activities at Paperbark Camp, including canoeing, bike riding, bushwalking, birdwatching and spotlighting.
For the next two nights, our accommodation is at Paperbark Camp, offering tranquillity, seclusion and relaxation in a unique and comfortable environment. Consisting of elevated, luxury safari style tents, it is the ultimate way to enjoy the natural Australian bushland environment. Wait until you experience the wonders created in the kitchen of their restaurant, Gunyah.
On the second day, we have many options available, including travelling to Morton National Park and the Southern Highlands, and exploring the famous Fitzroy Falls; we can head further south for more coastal touring to Batemans Bay and Pebbly Beach, with the famous beach dwelling kangaroos; or we can stay around Jervis Bay which offers spectacular diving, snorkelling, bushwalking in the Booderee National Park, beautiful beaches, surfing, dolphin watching, golf and tennis.
On the third morning, we have time to enjoy more of the Jervis Bay before heading back north, travelling through the local township of Nowra, and then travel inland through Kangaroo Valley. We stop at the Illawarra Fly, a 500 metre long, 25 metre high elevated tree top walk nestled amongst the temperate rainforest. Finally, we head through the historic towns of Moss Vale, Bowral and back into Sydney, arriving at approximately 5:00pm.
