Tour Code A198 Tour itinerary and highlights: • Morning tea at a wildlife park • Touring through the scenic regions to the Hunter Valley • Wine tasting at boutique wineries • Gourmet lunch experience • Spend an evening and morning at leisure in the Hunter Valley

Your informative and knowledgeable guide will collect you from your Sydney hotel as we commence our small group tour into the Hunter Valley Region. We head out of the city and reach our morning tea stop, a unique wildlife park where you will meet native Australian animals. We then head away from the main road and travel through the National Parks to the historic town of Wollombi. Continuing over Mount View, we head into the Hunter Valley to a boutique winery for the first wine tasting experience.

The next winery we visit is our lunch destination, where a gourmet tasting experience of food and wine matching awaits. After lunch there is an informal time for wine tasting at Hermitage Cellars who stock a wide range of wines from around 12 Hunter boutique wineries. We then deliver you to your accommodation to enjoy the afternoon and evening relaxing at leisure.

In the morning there is more time at leisure to visit other vineyards for wine tasting, join the Hunter Valley Wine School, enjoy a scenic hot air balloon ride, or hop on a horse and carriage for a ride around the vineyards (all own expense). We will then collect you at approximately 1:30-2:00pm to commence our return journey to Sydney after a few days of unique experiences.

Children: Infant 0-2 inclusive, Child 3-12 inclusive.
Inclusions: Hotel pickup and drop off, touring as per itinerary, morning tea and wildlife park entry, lunch, wine and chocolate tastings, 1 night accommodation and breakfast at the Hunter Resort or Peppers Guest House.
Exclusions: Beverages with meals unless stated, Dinner on Day 1, Lunch on Day 2.
Departures: Daily from Sydney City Hotels from 7:00am and returns to hotels at approximately 6:00pm on the second day (subject to accommodation availability). Tour runs with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 16.
Luggage: Due to space restrictions on the vehicle, only a small overnight bag can be taken. The remainder of luggage can be stored at Sydney hotels prior to tour departure.
Guides: Please note that a different guide may be used for each new day of touring.
