Seatree Cottages are child friendly with an outdoor playground provided. They are also designed to cater for disabled people - the single level entrances provide easy access for wheelchairs, while the bathrooms are well appointed and designed specifically for the disabled.

During summer and autumn the garden produces a wonderful variety of organically grown fruit and vegetables, which are on offer free to guests. With a long history in the area and along the south-west coast, the owners can assist and direct you in participating in several activities such as sightseeing, bushwalking, bird watching, mountain-bike riding, horse riding and surfing. So come prepared with clothes for warm and wet weather and sturdy footwear. Don't forget a torch for the glow worms, binoculars and music.

Seatree Cottages have well appointed kitchens, so if you wish to eat in, remember to bring your own food and beverages. (Note: for special tastes and needs, buy before you arrive in the Otways.) If you wish to eat out, there are several fine licensed restaurants, cafes and a pub in the area.

Accommodation at Seatree Cottages
The cottages over look Bass Strait, a stretch of ocean separating Tasmania from the Australian mainland. This coastline is regularly traversed by ocean vessels of all kinds, from the smallest of yachts to multi-storey container ships. The forest beneath our cottages leads down to secluded beaches below. A wonderful place to explore and enjoy.

Cottage 1

This is a studio styled spa cottage, ideal for couples. There is an extra bed if required. Same level car parking provides close and easy access. Large windows let you fully enjoy the sweeping coastal views, from relaxing in bed, in the spa or out on the deck. Seatree cottage 1 is surrounded by trees, providing privacy but allowing beautiful ocean views in all weather. Easy single level car access allows easy entry for all including the disabled. Seatree cottage 1's studio bedroom featuring easy access to bathroom, comfortable queen size and optional single bed looking out over vast ocean views. Linen and towels supplied. Bed is fitted with feather doona and electric blanket. The bedside radio alarm clock will help you catch the kookaburra dawn chorus and sunrise. Cottage 1's self-contained kitchenette, features a microwave, fridge, toaster, electric jug, electric 2 burner hotplate, electric fry pan, iron, and plenty of food storage space. Fresh Otway rain water is on tap. There is also a full selection of fresh teas, instant and ground coffee and milo. Complimentary bottle of red wine or champagne if you stay more than a day. Beautiful indoor and outdoor facilities with vast southern ocean views. Featuring private deck with barbeque, satellite television, stereo system, small CD Library, modern reverse-cycle heating and cooling system and a great selection of games, books and magazines. The best room in the cottage is the spa bathroom. Lay back and relax in our the while taking in the ocean view. Hair dryer, fresh towels, face washers, spa jell, soap and crystals are provided. The bathroom also includes a separate open shower area, which is appointed with a convenient hand rail for those requiring a little extra support.

Cottage 2

This cottage caters for couples, families and groups of up to eight people. There is a baby's bath and highchair. If you wish to go exploring with the kids, either a baby's carry sling or carry pack for toddlers, as well as a big box of toys, can be provided. If you decide to stay longer than a night you will receive a free complimentary bottle of 'Seatree' red wine or champagne. Seatree cottage 2 faces east ready to greet the rising sun and overlooks forest, farm and the great southern ocean. This beautifully well appointed, fully self-contained cottage has a private deck with a gas barbeque and outdoor seating. In front of the cottage is a small play area for the kids, which can be viewed easily from the deck. Beautiful dining area and kitchen, ready to seat many, has a large fridge and food storage area. There is an iron, electric jug, toaster, full selection of fresh teas, instant and ground coffee and milo. For those wanting to cook, there is a microwave, hotplates and a fry pan. Seatree cottage 2's bathroom is a large functional open planned bathroom with open shower facilities and was specifically designed with the disabled in mind. Hair dryer, fresh soap, towels, face washers and bathmat are provided. The modern open living area provides the perfect relaxation space with a view you can't beat. Featuring reverse cycle heating and cooling system, satellite television, radio/stereo system, CD library, games, books and a private balcony barbeque area.
