option is to explore Fraser Island at your own leisure by experiencing our
Heli-Drive package. All flights depart from Hervey Bay Airport and Fraser
Island. If you wish to just experience the excitement of a helicopter then MI's scenic flights may be

Helicopter Tours
SCENIC FLIGHTS - MI's awesome scenic helicopter
flights commence at 10, 15, 25, 35, 45 minutes and 1hour duration. Board
your helicopter for a breathtaking journey over the most spectacular sights
ever seen on the Fraser Coast.
The longer scenic flights take in some fantastic views of World Heritage listed Fraser Island, the Maheno wreck,
Eli Creek, 75 Mile Beach, Butterfly lakes, Knifeblade Sandblow, Lake McKenzie, Kingfisher Bay Resort, Indian Head, Waddy Point, Wathumba, Moon
Point, Big Woody Island and The Great Sandy Strait.
MI Helicopters operates scenic flights, transfers and tours from the following heli-pads:

10 minute: depart Hervey Bay Airport, via the Marina down the Esplanade to Point Vernon and back across Hervey Bay returning to the
Airport.

15 minute: depart Hervey Bay Airport, via the Marina over Big Woody Island across to Moon Point, the western most point of Fraser Island, over
Little Woody Island and the Great Sandy Strait returning to the Airport.
25 minute: depart Hervey Bay Airport flying over River Heads across
to Lake McKenzie, returning back along the western side of Fraser Island
over Kingfisher Bay Resort and Big Woody Island, The Great Sandy Strait,
Hervey Bay Marina and return to the Airport.
35 minute: depart Hervey Bay Airport via Riverheads across to Lake
McKenzie, Lake Wabby, up 75 mile beach which is located on the Eastern Side
of Fraser Island over Eli Creek, The Maheno Shipwreck, Knifeblade Sandblow
back across to the western side of Fraser Island to Moon Point, over Big
Woody Island, the marina and returning to the airport.

45 minute: depart Hervey Bay Airport via Riverheads
across to Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby, 75 mile beach, Maheno ship wreck, The
Pinnacles, Lake Allom, Moon Point, Big Woody Island, the Marina and return
to Airport.

Located between Hervey Bay and Fraser Island. This is the ultimate getaway for you and that someone

Standard Hamper included in package price: assorted breads and dips, wraps, salad selections,
