Tasman Venture
Tasman Venture is a specifically designed fully air-conditioned whale watching vessel with excellent access and 360 degree viewing decks around the vessel. The Tasman Venture also features two air-conditioned underwater viewing rooms where you can see the whales up close and personal in their natural environment.
Get up close and personal with the whales- experience the trip of a lifetime aboard our new, fast luxurious vessel. The fast speed of the Tasman Venture means that viewing time is not encroached on by hours of travelling time to the Whale Watch area, providing more actual viewing time with the whales. You can also experience the live whale song that is amplified through the vessels P.A. system as the whales are beside and beneath the vessel. This is all possible with state of the art hydrophone equipment.

Start your day with a scenic mini coach tour to magnificent Hervey Bay where the Humpback Whales come to rest and play. Your first stop will be at Matilda Roadhouse for a bite of morning tea (own expense). We then travel onto the historic town of Maryborough. Experience the captivating sites of the town, that is home to the "Queenslander". Travelling just 30 minutes north of Maryborough, you stumble onto the pristine beaches of Hervey Bay. Here you will take a scenic tour along our beautiful Esplanade whilst making your way to the Great Sandy Straits Marina for a delicious 2 course lunch before boarding Tasman Venture for your trip of a lifetime, Whale Watching.

Let the professional crew of Tasman Venture take you fishing in the fishing grounds from the Fraser Island Shoals and Continental Shelf to Lady Elliott, Lady Musgrave and the Bunker Group of Islands. Group of Islands and the Swains - The Tasman Venture is available to charter for 2 - 7 days, prices are based on 12 passengers however can cater for up to 16 passengers. Whole vessel charter itinerary is based on your requests weather permitting.
