Blue Dolphin II is only 10.7m in length and 5 tonne in weight so compared to an adult Humpback whale at 11m to 13m in length and 35 tonne we can give you that awe inspiring experience.

Blue Dolphin II is a brand new 35 ft sailing catamaran, offering wide flat decks and room for all to see unimpeded. The full day tour includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Blue Dolphin's tour offers you a full day on the water and your skipper Peter Lynch is the Bay's most experienced marine mammal expert. His 22 years working with dolphins and whales include 14 years at Seaworld, a summer season with the Australian Antarctic Division and the last 8 years here in Hervey Bay as a dolphin and whale watch operator.
Marine life abounds in the waters of Hervey Bay. So keep a look out for dolphins, turtles,dugongs and in the sky above for the different bird species. We have Indo-pacific humpback dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins and sometimes the Common dolphin. Along the beautiful beaches of the Western side of Fraser Island an occasional dingo may be spotted searching for food.

Carrying only a maximum of 20 people your day on Blue Dolphin will be an intimate and personal tour. The full day tour includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Departs daily at 7.30am (Hervey Bay Marina/Urangan Boat Harbour); Returns approximately 3.30pm.

2. Dolphin Tour - ex Hervey Bay Marina
Cruise the calm waters of the Great Sandy Strait on our morning marine tour. We look for Bottlenose dolphins, Indo-pacific humpback dolphins, dugongs and turtles. With Blue Dolphin, our sailing vessel and low numbers of passengers you get an up close and personal experience that is also very environmentally friendly. The tour with Blue Dolphin is for 4 hours and includes morning tea. During the summer months if the weather permits we stop for a swim and sail after having the chance to view dolphins. The cruise leaves from the jetty at Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island. Transfers can be arranged from Hervey Bay.
3. Champagne Sunset Sail - ex Hervey Bay Marina
Depart the Hervey Bay Marina and sip champagne aboard Blue Dolphin as the sun sets over the waters of the Great Sandy Strait. For the perfect way to end a day a busy day join us for pre-dinner drinks, a cheese, dip and vegetable platter and savouries. For 90 minutes of relaxing sailing and great company.
