Shayla Cruises
Shayla Cruises is based in Hervey Bay on the Fraser Coast (Queensland, Australia), gateway to the World Heritage listed, "Fraser Island" – the world's largest sand island, Whale Watch capital of the world and one of the most untouched, protected and serine aquatic playgrounds in Australia.
The Vessel
Shayla is a 10.5m by 6.5m 'Seawind 1050 Resort' purpose-built sailing catamaran, with a wide stable deck and a covered seating area for 30 passengers. Though primarily a sailing boat, Shayla is equipped with two quiet, low emission 20hp Honda 4 stroke engines for those really calm days.
The boat is very roomy, extremely stable, fully licensed and equipped with a galley, household toilets and even a BBQ on the back deck. Shayla is well appointed with everything you need to sail in comfort and style. On the bow there are trampolines - perfect for lazing about, whilst the more adventurous can climb/jump/dive into the boom net off the back for some extreme fun.

2. Sail Fraser Island (November - July)

Sail Fraser Island is a half day sailing adventure on the licensed Shayla and includes courtesy pickup and return from Hervey Bay accommodation, a delicious morning tea and return ferry transfers. Lunch is available at Kingfisher Bay Resort Sand Bar (additional cost) and you have use of the resort facilities and activities.
