Coral Sea Resort Weddings
Coral Sea Resort is one of the most romantic and picturesque Whitsunday resort locations. We are committed to providing a friendly, professional wedding and reception service, working with you to design everything to your taste and budget. We also help with all the little extras to make this day perfect so that you can relax and savour your special day.

The quaint intimate outdoor chapel is set on the absolute waters edge at the northerly end of the resort gardens and is spacious enough to accommodate the bride, groom, attendants and celebrant. A shaded area in the foreground provides ample space, either seated or standing, for up to 150 guests. The chapel features soft lighting for evening weddings, as well as music facilities to cater for both CD and tape.

Choose from a variety of venues for your wedding reception - the stylish and intimate "Jetty Restaurant", or our fully air conditioned "Nautilus Room" or our poolside lawn areas. Each of these venues lends itself to different function styles and can be created using Creative Wedding and Party Hire. The Jetty Restaurant - Located on our private jetty, the Jetty Restaurant is a wonderful location for a reception being quite intimate and private, catering for a maximum of 45 guests.

Lawn and Poolside Areas - For smaller weddings, the lawn and poolside areas are ideal for year round functions with large shade structures available.

Nautilus Room - the fully air conditioned function centre includes dance floor, full audiovisual entertainment and can seat up to 180 guests. The large open-air paved area is ideal for pre-dinner cocktails and canapés. The Nautilus Room enjoys easterly views over Pioneer Bay.

Coral Sea Resort offers a Conference facilities which we can cater up to 200 delegates. Coral Sea Resort also has it own private Jetty which is ideal for those special dinners. Coral Sea Resort is located at Airlie Beach on the Queensland mainland just 26kms northeast of Proserpine, and off the Bruce Highway. The majority of visitors to the Whitsundays will arrive at the Proserpine Airport. The major airlines that service the region are Qantas, Virgin Blue and Jetstar. Flight and/or rail tickets can be arranged in conjunction with your accommodation package.
