The Spirit of the Lake's Cabins have been carefully built out of normal
earshot from each other - each with a well equipped kitchenette, fridge,
microwave and cooking utensils. All linen and towels are provided. There's
also a television, VCR/CD player, full size tennis court and barbecue
pavilion and guests are welcome to stroll in the neighbouring forest and
adjoining grounds. Spirit of the Lake is away from it all, yet just 15
minutes from town and great restaurants.
Peace and privacy are the keynotes at Spirit of the Lake a perfect place to
unwind with that special person.
Accommodation
The six snug redgum cabins all have magnificent views and are bordered by
pine forest, facing north across beautiful countryside and rolling hills
toward towering Mt Walker. Each cabin has a tempting double spa, shower,
gas log fire, queen size bed with feather doona, dimmed lights, complete
privacy and a deep verandah from which to relax in your rocker chair and
enjoy the view, drink in the tranquillity and watch the kangaroos and
wallabies graze.
The cabins at Spirit on the Lake are built of recycled Red Gum timber slabs
with romantic rustic interiors. Features include straw ceilings, a luxurious
timber and corrugated iron bathroom with double corner spa, kitchenettes
with microwaves, hot plates, fridge, toaster, kettle, electric frying pan
and all your crockery and cutlery.
Some of Australia's finest and most picturesque vineyards and cellar doors
at Mudgee are also just a relaxing 90 minutes drive away, with the historic
gold towns of Sofa and Hill End are also close by.

The unique self-contained cabins are a two minute drive to Lake Lyell, 15
minutes to the famous Zig Zag Railway and just 40 minutes to all major
attractions in The Blue Mountains, including the spectacular Jenolan Caves,
Scenic World at Katoomba, Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens and Bathurst's Mt
Panorama racetrack, around which you are allowed to drive....slowly.
