Cypress Lakes Resort offers a combination of luxurious villa accommodation and first class facilities. Over 200 luxury 5 star villas with one, two, three or four bedrooms all with private ensuites offer very modern and spacious interiors with room enough to seriously unwind.

The villas are terraced around the hillside and are set amongst indigenous Australian landscaping. The signature balconies of your villa boasts room enough to entertain friends, enjoy a picnic breakfast or simply marvel at the breathtaking views of the Hunter Valley.

Check-in
You are invited to check into your villa on the day of arrival from 2:00pm. However, Cypress Lakes will always endeavour to have your villa ready for your arrival if it is prior to check-in time.

Check-out
To assist us in accommodating newly arrived guests, it is requested you vacate your villa by 11:00am. The porters are happy to arrange the storage of your baggage until your actual departure from the Resort. Should you wish to extend your check-out time past 11:00am, please advise Reservations at time of booking, late check-out is subject to availability.

Pipette - is Cypress Lakes Resort's award-winning signature restaurant. It offers a relaxed ambience and professional and attentive service with seating either indoors or on the terrace. This is an elegant restaurant with spectacular views across the valley to the ranges beyond. The menu changes with the seasons and features modern Australian cuisine with regional specialities - accompanied by premium Hunter Valley wines. Open for Dinner 7 days from 6:30pm to 10:00pm - a la carte menu.

Mulligans Brasserie - offers informal dining, indoor or alfresco on the terrace, with views across the pool and golf course. Mulligans serves a classic brasserie fare and is ideal for breakfast, or perhaps the Wine Country BBQ on Friday evenings. Open for Breakfast 7 days a week - Full Country Style Buffet. Open for Dinner Friday - BBQ evenings and Saturday - Carvery Buffet.

Icons Bar - this stylish bar offers the prime meeting place for a casual drink in the Hunter Valley. With views leading directly out to the golf course, this cool establishment is great to meet for pre-dinner drinks or perhaps a game of pool. A snack menu is available here. Bar open from 10:00am till late.

In Villa Dining - At Cypress Lakes Resort, in-house guests are offered 24-hour room service. Whether it is a hamper at breakfast or a snack whilst watching a movie, the choice is yours. A Continental Breakfast Hamper is available from 7:00am till 10:30am. A La Carte all day dining from 12:00pm to 10:30pm or a snack menu from Night Owl 10:30pm to 6:30am - snack menu

Lobby Bar - located in the resort centre is the intimate Lobby Bar. With a warm, relaxing environment, guests can sit back in front of the large open fireplace and take time to enjoy the wonderful selection of Hunter Wines available. Open on request and for special events. Open Fridays and Saturdays til midnight.

Lagoon Pool Bar - jump straight from the pool to the Lagoon Pool Bar for a quick refreshment, or a cocktail to cool down and relax. Located by the lagoon pool, you have everything you need to keep the liquids flowing. Open Saturdays and Sundays.

Kids Club
At Cypress, they understand that parents and children need time out to relax and recharge during their holiday, so they have created The Critters Club, a fun, happy and importantly safe environment designed specifically for children aged 3 to 13 years.

Available every day from 9.00am to 12.00pm (morning session) then again from 2.00pm to 5.30pm (afternoon session); The Critter's Club is staffed by fully accredited early childhood teachers who understand children's needs. They are there to help children enjoy outdoor games in a fully-fenced playground, plus teach children arts and crafts, fun puzzles as well as play board games and other exciting activities.

A charge per child applies for each session, with lunch at an additional cost. Staff encourage parents to bring suitable refreshments and morning/afternoon tea for each child. For children who would like to stay all day or for parents attending a full day tour, The Critters Club is available to be booked from 9.00am until 5.30pm.

Cancellations must be notified 24 hours prior to the schedule time or will incur the full session charge per child.

Conferences at Cypress Lakes Resort

Set amongst the Hunter Valley vineyards, this stand alone venue offers state-of-the-art technical facilities and is complimented by the surrounds of a luxury resort. Enjoy the total experience of work and play at Cypress Lakes Convention Centre. This is a destination which offers a variety of options such as teamwork on the panoramic 18-hole championship golf course or a massage at The Golden Door Spa.

Cypress Lakes Resort's Convention Centre has the capacity to cater for up to 400 delegates theatre style, or 280 guests banquet style. The complex has the capability to divide into four smaller rooms of equal size, with a maximum capacity theatre style of 90 delegates each.

All rooms feature natural lighting and lead onto a large covered verandah, which encompasses the entire complex. In addition to a ceiling height of four metres, the complex has direct vehicle access into the room, three-phase power and ISDN video conferencing lines.

The convention complex is complimented by a stand alone Marquee, surrounding manicured lawns, a lagoon pool and sweeping views over the championship golf course and local vineyards.

Cypress' on-site audiovisual production company can assist in the technical planning and smooth operation of your presentations. Their professional knowledge and experience in the provision of high quality audiovisual, staging and theming systems provides the highest customer care level, and their dedicated team will ensure the best technical and creative solutions and the highest results for each and every event.

Conference activities include
Initiative Matrix - Undertake an enjoyable and exciting journey around the course of initiative tasks. Each of the teams is competing to hold the crown as Matrix champions. This is one of the most intense activities that requires laughter and brain power. Duration 2-3 hours.

Break Activities - These activities break up the conferencing format and are designed to get the blood flowing and to improve comprehension and alertness for delegates. These may involve initiative tasks, Yoga, Tai Chi and stretching sessions.

Health and Fitness - Cypress Lakes Resort offers a wide variety of leisure activities that can be built into your conferencing program. Activities include Tai Chi, yoga, stretch, fit ball for back care, tribal dance and many more. Duration 2 hrs.

Corporate Presenter - Consider the inclusion of the Managing Director of Pinnacle Corporate Health in your conferencing program - offering a wealth of experience in the education and the health and fitness industry. This presentation is extremely motivational, encompassing health, stress management and lifestyle issues.

The Golden Door Resort Spa

The Golden Door Resort Spa is a sanctuary of health, relaxation and pampering opened in mid 2000 and located within Cypress Lakes Resort. Offering an extensive range of fabulous treatments from massage to energy balancing, facials to Vichy shower or body wraps, the Resort Spa is also the ideal base to improve your health and fitness. The Golden Door Resort Spa has been extended with five new luxury treatment rooms, an expanded ladies change room and locker facilities, and a more spacious and tranquil relaxation lounge for before and after spa treatments. Featuring a total of 13 treatment rooms, it is now the largest spa in New South Wales. You can also share your massage with a friend or loved one in the new couple's suite.

Cypress Lakes Golf and Country Club

Cypress Lakes Golf and Country Club offers outstanding facilities for all golf enthusiasts. Ranging from a round of 18- holes of golf on one of Australia's famous championship golf courses, to corporate golf days, or perhaps a Club membership encompassing an enormous range of benefits. All this and more awaits you, when you take the challenge and indulge in all the Club has to offer. The 18-hole championship golf course is ranked among the top resort courses in Australia. Unveiled in 1992, it was designed by Steve Smyers of Florida. From the blue championship markers, the layout is a length of 6,359m par 72, but reduces to 5,975m from the men's tees with the ladies facing a distance of 5,107m. The front nine is tree lined with sloping fairways and the back nine is a links style layout.

Not to mention, over 60 huge bunkers and dramatically shaped and elevated greens. As well as each tee and green having stunning panoramic views of the valley's famous vineyards and surrounding mountains.

Just 170 kilometres north of Sydney Airport, approximately 2 hours by road or 45 minutes by air to the on-site helipad. Cypress Lakes Resort is situated just past Cessnock and accessed via the Sydney-Newcastle Expressway turning off at the Branxton-Singleton road.

Transfer options include scheduled flights between Sydney and nearby Maitland, or by coach or limousine.
