Hervey Bay's beautiful calm beaches are the perfect place to stroll year round or for young swimmers. Hervey Bay has a growing selection of cafes and restaurants which cater to any palette, from fresh seafood to more casual and family orientated dining. There is a wide choice of tours that can be arranged in conjunction with your accommodation package:

• One, two or three day tours to World Heritage listed Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world. It is easily accessible by a short catamaran cruise across the Great Sandy Straits.

• Day trips or stay over on Lady Elliot Island, the southern most coral cay of the Great Barrier Reef. A 35 minute scenic flight away.

• Whale Watching - from mid July to early November, the magnificent Humpback whales migrate south and they venture in to their playground, the sheltered waters of Hervey Bay. They share the Bay with dolphins, turtles and dugongs. Tours in modern purpose built catamarans or yachts.

• Scenic flights in helicopters or light aircraft enable you to see the beauty of the Fraser Coast and Fraser Island from the air.
