Matterhorn Lodge has comfortable rooms located on lower and the upper level, most offering great views over the ski fields. The rooms vary in configuration and can sleep either 2, 3, 4 or 6 adults and are very suitable for the family. All rooms offer a private ensuite, television, tea and coffee making facilities and are serviced daily. All rooms are centrally heated for your comfort and quality linen is supplied. After an exhilarating day on the slopes you can return to the warmth of the cosy cocktail bar and lounge area with log fires. Inside Matterhorn, the atmosphere is warm and friendly. Happy Hour every night in the bar provides you with the opportunity to relax after a great day skiing, catch up with old friends and make new ones.

A separate dining room within the Matterhorn offers a place to get together for breakfast to plan the days activities or at dinner sit in the fully licensed restaurant and relive the stories and events of the day. A games room is available or get involved in organised house guest activities if you still have energy left. Entertainment is provided at the Matterhorn also.

Getting To Perisher Blue
Getting to Perisher Blue is easy. You can fly, drive or coach and we can arrange it all for you.

DRIVING to Perisher Blue: Perisher Blue is an easy 5½ to 6 hour drive from Sydney or 7 hours from Melbourne with half the distance on freeway standard roads. From Jindabyne access by road to Perisher, Smiggins and Guthega is via the Kosciusko Road, with snow chains required to be carried by all vehicles past the National Park entrance. It’s an easy half hour drive from Jindabyne in good weather.

SKITUBE Information: Skitube has become by far the most popular way of getting to and from the snow. Because the Bullocks Flat Terminal is well below the normal snow line, and only 20km from Jindabyne, it’s an easy drive. From here frequent train services run to Perisher and on to Blue Cow. Coach services run morning and evening between Jindabyne and Bullocks Flat. Your Skitube Pass includes the National Park Use Fee. FLYING to Perisher Blue: The nearest commercial airport is Canberra. Coach transfers from Canberra are available.
