Getting to Thredbo
Road - Thredbo is 5 - 6 hours drive from Sydney and 7 hours from Melbourne via the beautiful winding (fully sealed) Kosciusko Alpine Way. From the South Coast and Canberra it takes 2½ hours + to reach Thredbo.

Flying - The nearest commercial airport is Cooma, 85 kilometres from Thredbo. Taxi or car hire is available. Horizon Airlines flies from Sydney. Virgin Blue and Qantas fly to Canberra. Transfers from both airports are available.
