The moment you arrive at Bloomfield Lodge, Far North Queensland, you will relax in the ambience of this exclusive retreat in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest.

Bloomfield Lodge has been carefully designed to blend in with the beauty of the surrounding tropical rainforest ecosystem, while views out over the blue waters of Weary Bay and the Coral Sea are a reminder of its unique location in Far North Queensland.

Catering for a maximum of 34 guests in 16 deluxe accommodation rooms, guests can be assured of an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Natural timber cabins are located amidst lush tropical gardens.

At the heart of Bloomfield Lodge is the main building, with games rooms, bar and open-air restaurant and dining terrace overlooking the swimming pool and deck area.

Rainforest Cabin Located adjacent to the main lodge, Rainforest Cabins have queen beds and verandahs overlooking lush rainforest. Some have partial sea views.

Queenslander Cabin Located in a terrace of four cabins with unspoilt views over Weary Bay. Queen beds are available. A separate family suite on 2 floors with a shared bathroom sleeps 4 people. Please note - Bloomfield Lodge is unable to cater for children under the age of 12 years.

Deluxe Cabin More spacious than the Rainforest and Queenslander cabins, Deluxe cabins are located on the hillside away from the main lodge. All have private sea-facing verandahs with excellent views and a choice of queen or twin beds.

Honeymoon Cottage The ultimate treat at Bloomfield Lodge offering the full sea views, complete privacy and all with bath spas. All have queen beds.

Dining at Bloomfield - Luxury in the Rainforest
Meals at Bloomfield Lodge are exceptional. Fresh seafood, sumptuous steaks, tropical fruit and vegetables are skilfully prepared by the lodge chef and served in the relaxed comfort of the open air dining room. Free seating with around 4 - 6 guests per table makes for very sociable mealtimes with many friendships formed over a gourmet dinner and a few glasses of wine. Private dinners can also be arranged in the gazebos overlooking Weary Bay.

Guided Rainforest Walk - This is one of the most memorable of the Bloomfield Lodge activities offering a fascinating insight into the secrets of the tropical rainforest. Bloomfield Lodge Functions Facilities Conferences With Australia's world heritage listed Daintree Rainforest and Great Barrier Reef on its doorstep, Bloomfield Lodge is an unusual venue for small, intimate meetings and incentives in tropical Far North Queensland. Accessible by scenic flight and 4WD from Cairns, this luxury retreat offers deluxe rooms with accommodation for 17 delegates in single rooms or up to 34 delegates on a twin share basis.

Although Bloomfield Lodge does not have dedicated conference facilities, the Endeavour Room is ideal for executive board meetings and exclusive company and private events of 6 to 10 delegates.

Weddings

Bloomfield Lodge's magnificent location in the heart of Australia's World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest in Far North Queensland makes it the ideal venue for an intimate wedding with a beautiful tropical setting. Weddings are held on the decking in front of our Gazebos which provides a magnificent backdrop for you to take your vows. With gourmet cuisine, unlimited pampering and relaxation, luxury accommodation and the Great Barrier Reef on its doorstep, this exclusive retreat is also the perfect hideaway for a romantic honeymoon.

Location
The 2 hour journey from Cairns to Bloomfield Lodge is in itself a thrilling experience. It begins with a courtesy car which takes guests to the VIP lounge at the Hinterland Aviation terminal, looking out over the International Airport. A 30 minute scenic flight follows the dazzling Queensland coastline over the fringing reefs and tiny islands of the Coral Sea.

Landing on an outback airstrip, guests are met by Bloomfield Lodge's friendly staff and escorted on the short trip by unsealed road to the banks of the Bloomfield River. From here, the launch cruises downriver to the sea and across Weary Bay to Bloomfield Lodge, nestling almost unseen in the rainforest. The final touch in this unique little adventure comes as the boat lets down wheels and is pulled ashore for the driest of landings and a cooling drink, whilst the magic of Bloomfield Lodge takes over.
