You have the choice of staying in motel-style accommodation with breakfast included or a self contained apartment where you can cater as lavishly as you wish for family and friends.

Alpine Rooms - these large motel style rooms are very comfortable and cosy designed for 4-5 share. There are different bedding configurations to suit most couples or family needs. These rooms are ideal for the longer stay. All rooms have private bathrooms, television, small refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, outside views and are serviced daily.

Spa Rooms - Pamper and spoil yourself with a Spa Room for that special occasion. These are motel- style rooms with a two person spa bath in the private bathroom for your leisure. These rooms sleep 4-5 persons, are serviced daily and have a television, small refrigerator and tea and coffee making facilities.

Kitchenette Rooms - These motel-style rooms with their small kitchens and dining table are perfect for a short stay for families wishing to do some self catering. Kitchen facilities include, microwave, refrigerator, cooktop and oven. The rooms are serviced daily and sleep maximum 4 persons.

Fernery Rooms - These motel-style rooms are best suited for the short stay. They’re more economical than the Alpine Rooms and therefore ideal for keeping down the cost of your holiday. The rooms all have private bathroom, television, small refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities and are serviced daily. There is no outside view but after a long day on the slopes a place to rest will be the priority.

2 or 3 Bedroom Apartments - The separate bedrooms in these apartments ensures your privacy while the very spacious kitchen and lounge area located downstairs, provide plenty of room for the whole family or couples travelling together. These apartments overlook the Bourke Street Ski Run and offer great views of the surrounding mountains. The two bedroom apartment sleeps 4-6 persons and the three bedroom will comfortably accommodate 6-8 persons. These apartments have the luxury of a corner spa to help ease those tired muscles.

Dining at Arlberg

Choose from Arlberg Hotel’s three styles of dining…all fully licensed. If just taking a break our coffee shop, overlooking the Bourke Street ski run, offers panoramic views of the alpine village and the mountains beyond. Our friendly, experienced staff can also manage group bookings and cater for social occasions such as reunions, weddings and birthday parties to suit every budget.

Dining Room - Open for lunch and dinner every day for a great home style country meal. The menu is updated daily with special dishes and has the variety in the true style of good hotels. Enjoy a relaxed and friendly atmosphere especially suited to families and children. The pool tables and video machines at the front of the bar can keep the whole family entertained.

Nooky’s Restaurant - reknowned as a Wine Bar and Restaurant. You can relax over an extensive wine by the glass menu, classic cocktail or select from our range of Boutique Beers. Arrange a group of friends or try a romantic dinner for two and relax after a hard day on the slopes.

JD’s Pizzeria - a popular place on Mount Buller for lunch and dinner. Eat in the relaxed atmosphere and choose your favourite pizza from the traditional list. Enjoy a cappuccino and cake or your favourite beer. Eat in or take away.

Enjoy the many alpine activities available or just relax and unwind. This property is open year round and is a fantastic base from which to explore the Victorian Alps.

Getting to Mount Buller
The Mt Buller Alpine Resort is 250km north east of Melbourne - just a short and manageable three hour drive. Mt Buller is clearly emerging as Australia's best all season alpine resort and Arlberg Hotel is family friendly accommodation right in the heart.

Driving - to Mt Buller is easy. The scenery on the way is well worth taking your time to see and enjoy. If you are travelling during the winter season (June - October), remember to pick up chains along the way. You pay your resort entry (winter only) at Mirimbah where you will be advised of road conditions. Follow the well maintained sealed road up the hill and enjoy the many spectacular alpine views. In winter you will be met at the car parks by an attendant who will show you where to park. The 4WD oversnow vehicles then meet you and take you to Arlberg Hotel.

If you prefer you can leave the car in the valley. Mansfield Mt Buller Bus Lines provide regular services from Mansfields, Merrijig and Mirimbah, all co-ordinated through to your lodge. This means no chain hire and no mountain driving.

Flying - Mt. Buller, the closest ski resort to an international airport, has the advantage of servicing interstate guests efficiently and at great value prices. Travelling from interstate to Melbourne's Tullamarine Airport there are fantastic airfares available from the country's largest and most competitive airlines. Reputable coach companies regularly meet flights from interstate to Melbourne Airport.

Coach - Mansfield-Mt Buller Bus Lines operates a fleet of over 50 vehicles ranging from 12 seat 4WD troop carriers to luxury 49 seater coaches equipped with video, air-conditioning and reclining seats.
