Falls Creek has much to offer, being on the snow makes it a great holiday as in the evenings you get to walk around town in the snow and really feel the atmosphere

Diana Alpine Lodge is close to the gateway into Falls Creek, so it is not long before you are settled in. From here, Gully Chairlift, International Poma and a range of runs including the home trail are readily accessible. Some of Falls Creek shops, ski hires, and apres-ski locations, are our neighbours.

Accommodation at Diana Alpine Lodge
Diana Alpine Lodge can cater for Families, Singles or Couples and even groups of any size. Whatever your needs we have rooms to suit. We also love kids and fully cater for their special needs. All the rooms at Diana are well appointed, very comfortable and have their own facilities including ensuite, television, tea/coffee making facilities, refrigerator and hairdryer. We give your room a light service everyday and supply all linen. Video players and a range of movies are available for your own private use.

Family Sunsuite The warm and sunny Family Sunsuites have an outlook toward fabulous Snowgums, the Gully and International lifts and Spion Kopje Mountain. Designed to accommodate families with queen-size, single and trundle beds and a sofa double bed, they also suit those who wish to have a more relaxing holiday. We have six of these Sunsuites.

Standard Lodge Rooms The Standard Lodge rooms are more traditional lodge-style. They have the same facilities but simpler and cosy, yet adequate size, and are often snowbound in winter. Those who plan to spend more time outdoors or partaking in the social lodge atmosphere prefer this accommodation. There are three twin/doubles, four twin/double with two bunk beds, and one twin/double with four bunk beds.

Many of the rooms, at Diana Alpine Lodge, were designed with families in mind and so we offer special Family Tariffs. Children discounts are always offered depending on ages. Single parents take note!

Facilities at Diana Alpine Lodge
Lounge - The comfortable and cosy lounge is where people can really relax and feel at home. The friendliness of the lodge stems from the social licensed bar. It is where guest congregate to share stories about their day’s adventures.

Warm up with espresso coffee or hot chocolates or relax with our range of beverages and the complimentary hors d’oeurves. Make your selection from our wine list with its regional focus to accompany your dining experience. Any lodge would not be complete without the fireplace and ours certainly enhances the cosy charm.

Children are entertained here with the range of videos, games and activities we provide during the adult’s dinner. Parents can relax and enjoy “dining out” knowing their children are just downstairs.

Hydrotherapy Spa - No alpine experience would be complete without a dip in the outdoor hydrotherapy spa. A great way to relax muscles after a hard day on the slopes…if you can brave the cool air dash into the tub! Drying Room and Equipment Storage - The drying room and equipment storage are located on the ground level ensuring quick access onto the ski trail and a short trip to the Gully and International lifts. In normal winter conditions you can ski back to the door. Have those boots and clothes warm and dry overnight in our drying room.

Dining - Meals are served in our Dining room and prepared in our well equipped Kitchen by our Chef. Dining at Diana Alpine Lodge is a social affair. The communal experience is an ideal way to make new friends. We provide all meals, which means exceptional value for you. Begin your day with a hearty breakfast which includes the continental buffet and the chef can cook to order your selection from eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans, pancakes, porridge…and more.

Lunch has become a tradition at Diana. It is an opportunity to take a break in the day’s activities and have a fulfilling and fresh lunch. The buffet is a light and simple fair of soup of the day, salads, cheese, cold meats, breads and condiments.

Life in the mountains brings on a healthy appetite, so we provide four courses for the evening repast. Commencing with tasty bites served around in the lounge we then ascend to the dining room. Our chefs prepare a new menu each day giving you a fresh choice for each of the courses.

Family Lodge - Relax and enjoy the lodge that welcomes the whole family, adults and kids alike are equally important to us. Diana Lodge gives you a relaxed feeling when you arrive. It also gives it the family-orientated atmosphere. Children make the place easy-going and fun. They are as important to us as our older clientele.

Children have their own special dinner time of 5.30pm, as after a full day on the mountain they are usually hungry by this time. They have a two course fare with their own tastes in mind: such as roasts, lasagne, pasta, pizza, burgers, grilled chicken and desserts of fruit salad, ice cream and puddings. When the parents dine a staff member entertains the children in the lounge with activities, games and videos. For parents and children alike this enhances everyone’s enjoyment.

Not all children are of an age to ski all day, so if you require any babysitting during your stay this can be arranged prior your arrival. Evening babysitting from 8.30 – 11.00pm is complimentary, provided children are in bed prior to parents venturing out.

Diana Lodge in Summer - Diana Lodge are now open in Summer, so you can stay all year round. Outside the winter months is a wonderful time to experience Falls Creek. Relax and recharge. Energise from active mountain adventures. Discover and learn about the natural environment. There is a great energy that is released once nature is freed from the blanket of snow. The High Plains are completely transformed. The abundant wildlife and flora prevail. People also benefit from this awakening, by being amongst it.

Getting to Diana Lodge
By Car: A good sealed road leads right to the resort with ample day and long term parking for over 2000 cars. Chains must be carried in winter and fitted when directed. Alternatively, cars can be left in the security car park at the base of the mountain in Mt. Beauty (30 km. downhill). A regular bus service (in winter) operates between Mt. Beauty and Falls Creek Village.

From Melbourne: 356 km - Four and a half to five hours drive via the Hume Highway through Myrtleford and Mt. Beauty.

From Sydney: 690 km - Eight hours drive via Goulburn, Albury-Wodonga and the Hume Highway.

From Canberra: 506 km - Six to seven hours drive via Yass and Albury-Wodonga.

From Adelaide: 958 km - Ten hours drive via Pinaroo, Ouyen and Swan Hill or alternatively via Bordertown and Shepparton.

From Brisbane: 1537 km - Fifteen hours drive.

By Coach: Daily coach services between Melbourne, Albury and Mt. Beauty in the winter season. Ski Connection services Adelaide.

By Plane: The nearest airport is at Albury. A coach connection approx. 2 hours provides transit to Falls Creek (120 kms).
