Accommodation at Fraser Island Beach Houses

Fraser Island Beach Houses - Eurong Beach offers you a choice of thirty large, modern studio or 2 and 3 bedroom fully self-contained beach houses set amongst beautiful palm laden gardens. The Beach Houses offer both standard and absolute beachfront 3 bedroom houses, both of which are fully self-contained with full kitchen, laundry and bathroom. The modern kitchens are a chef’s paradise, have quality fittings and all crockery, cutlery and glassware is supplied. The 3 bedroom absolute beachfront houses consist of one level and are situated in the first row of houses at the front of the complex, backing out on to manicured lawns and offering stunning ocean views of the surf beach, Seventy Five Mile Beach. The Standard 3 Bedroom Houses are scattered throughout the resort and are set on two levels with two bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs as well as another bathroom and bedroom downstairs. Each is accompanied with a large private veranda offering views of the beach, bushlands and is ideal for larger families and groups. The 2 Bedroom Houses are fully self-contained with a full kitchen, bathroom and laundry. They are located behind the first row of houses and throughout the rest of the complex, and are positioned on the second floor above a separate Studio Room which will be locked off. The studio suite is ideal for couples and has a kitchenette, spacious living area and private balcony and when unlocked becomes the 3rd bedroom of the entire house. All the three bedroom houses can accommodate up to 6 guests in 2 x queen beds and 2 x single beds and an additional child under 5 years. However, one of the three bedroom houses can cater for up to 8 people when using an additional sofa bed and must be requested and confirmed at time of booking. Extra people do incur an additional charge. Car parking is conveniently located underneath the elevated houses. Getting to Fraser Island Beach Houses
From the South via Noosa, Double Island Point and Rainbow Beach - This is the best option, when the tides are right. Take in the view along Teewah Beach and visit the Cooloola Coloured Sands on your way to Fraser Island. The 10 minute barge trip from Inskip Point on the mainland to Hook Point at the southern tip of Fraser Island is the fastest crossing. If conditions are not right or safe at the Rainbow Beach 8 Mile rocks, you will need to take the option of the scenic detour via the Freshwater Road.

From the South via Gympie - When you have to travel at a time other than low tide, use the highway. Follow the signs from Gympie to Rainbow Beach. This route is longer in distance but about the same in travel time.

From the North via Hervey Bay – access via the vehicular ferry from River Heads, 20km south of Hervey Bay. Land at Wanggoolba Creek or Kingfisher Bay Resort and Village on the western side of Fraser Island. There is no need to consider tides on this route as the inland tracks will take you straight to Fraser Island Beach Houses. However, barge bookings are essential and departure times are limited each day.

By Bus - from either Hervey Bay or Noosa - Many day tour operators will transfer extra passengers to accommodation at Fraser Island Beach Houses. Departure times and availability may vary with the season and costs apply.

By Taxi - from either the Wanggoolba Creek or Hook Point barges - A 4WD taxi service is available at an additional cost to transfer passengers from either the Wanggoolba Creek or Hook Point barges. Arrange this in conjunction with your accommodation booking. Ask us!

By Air - Air Fraser Island conduct scenic flights over Fraser Island from the beach at Eurong They offer special deals on their early morning flights from Urangan (Hervey Bay) to Eurong beach Resort and also on their late afternoon return flights.
