Hamilton Island features fantastic shopping with 20 boutiques and specialty stores throughout the Marina Village and the Resort Centre, including a general store through to local art and fashion.
Kids on Hamilton Island
Kids Stay and Eat Free - Kids 0 to 12 years stay free when sharing a room with parents and using existing bedding. Kids 0 to 12 years eat free when dining with parents and eating from the kid’s menu in selected restaurants before 7.30pm. The kids stay and eat free program is not available to conference delegates.
Clownfish Club - The Clownfish Club offers high quality care and is operated by fully qualified early childhood leaders. Sessions in the Junior Childminding Centre are fun filled with painting, blocks, playdough, dancing, sand sculpting, climbing and much, much more!! Clownfish Club operates Tuesday to Saturday (closed Sunday/Monday) and Monday to Saturday during school holidays. Operation hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm.
Kids Activities - There are plenty of things for kids and families to do on Hamilton Island. Apart from the jam-packed schedule on offer at Clownfish Club, there are lots of other activities on and off the island - we guarantee even teenagers won't get bored.
Konference Kids - Konference Kids is an activity programme specially developed for the children of conference delegates allowing them to enjoy the many activities available on Hamilton Island. Konference Kids offers two age ranges for activities, 5-12 years and 13-18 years. Children under 5 years can access the Clownfish Club Childminding Centre.

Hamilton Island Golf
Hamilton Island is excited to announce the much anticipated opening of its very own 18-hole championship golf course (opened August, 2009) - located on neighbouring Dent Island, just a short boat transfer from Hamilton Island Marina.
Designed by Peter Thomson, five time winner of the British open, the 6083m, par 71 course will not disappoint; its panoramic views of the Whitsundays from all holes giving the golfers of all levels an unprecedented experience. The course has been designed to keep in mind that it is not only a course for resort golfers, but one that will also challenge the professionals.

Hamilton Island Race Week - The Hamilton Island Race Week is Australia's largest offshore yachting event. It consistently attracts record numbers of competing yachts both nationally and internationally.
Muso Magic - The Muso Magic workshop motivates, inspires and educates teens aged 11-16yrs. Facilitated by ARIA-award winning singer/songrwriter Adam Thompson (Chocolate Starfish), kids collaborate in a team environment to write and record their own song!

Getting To Hamilton Island
Hamilton Island is easily accessible, with daily direct flights from Sydney (2 hours), Brisbane (1 hour), Melbourne (3 hours) and Cairns (1 hour). By boat, Fantasea Cruises operate regular services daily from Shute Harbour (near Airlie Beach).
