Jet services from Brisbane are provided by Virgin Blue, Qantas and Jetstar taking approximately 75 minutes. Jetstar also fly direct from Sydney and Melbourne. Qantas Link provides daily scheduled services between major coastal centres including Mackay.

Queensland Rail provides regular scheduled Traveltrain services including TiltTrain to Mackay from Brisbane, Cairns and coastal ports.

Traveling along the Bruce Highway, turn into Gordon Street, then after five blocks turn left into Gregory Street, and the Grand Mercure Suites reception and hotel car park is on the eastern side of Gregory Street.
