Studio Suite - Ideal for short stays for a single traveller or a couple, the Grand Mercure Studio has all the comforts to ensure a relaxing nights sleep. One Bedroom Suite - These make up the majority of the hotel- spacious suites offering you room to spread out and be comfortable whilst on holiday. As well as being able to sit back and relax after a long day, you also need a suitable work environment if business must go on regardless. Two Bedroom Suites and Interconnecting Suites - The Grand Mercure Suites caters for both ends of the spectrum and in between, with the 2 bedroom self contained apartment or interconnecting suites being ideal for larger families or singles travelling together wanting bedroom privacy but happy to share the lounge/dining/kitchen facilities. All five floors of accommodation and the first floor off street carpark are accessible only by security key cards, to ensure the safety and security of our guests. All rooms and floors are non smoking, however smoking on balconies is permitted.

Getting to Mackay

Mackay is served by regular daily jet and regional air services through Mackay's award winning modern airport terminal. Jet services from Brisbane are provided by Virgin Blue, Qantas and Jetstar taking approximately 75 minutes. Jetstar also fly direct from Sydney and Melbourne. Qantas Link provides daily scheduled services between major coastal centres including Mackay.

Queensland Rail provides regular scheduled Traveltrain services including TiltTrain to Mackay from Brisbane, Cairns and coastal ports.

Greyhound Pioneer operates scheduled coach services north from Brisbane or south from Cairns to Mackay on a daily basis.

Traveling along the Bruce Highway, turn into Gordon Street, then after five blocks turn left into Gregory Street, and the Grand Mercure Suites reception and hotel car park is on the eastern side of Gregory Street.
