The onsite fully licensed café-restaurant at The Beach Retreat Coolum is perfectly positioned beach side to catch the gentle ocean breezes making it a casual and very popular eatery for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is designed for everyone no matter the time of day. Choose from tasty snacks, delicious menu meals, aromatic coffee and their specialty is Thai Food.

You will also find a good selection of wine, beers and spirits. Talay Thai Restaurant also provides room service for dinner if guests don't want to cook for themselves or go to one of the nearby restaurants but rather just relax in your apartment and eat in.

Getting To Coolum
Coolum is approx 1¼ hours drive from Brisbane, 2 hours from the Gold Coast and it is just 30 minutes to Noosa.

Getting There From Brisbane Airport - Drive north along Gateway motorway, which will continue onto the Bruce Highway. Take the Mooloolaba turn off. (After the Ettamoga Pub and Aussie World attraction) Follow signs too Mooloolaba then turn left onto Sunshine Coast Motorway and travel north towards Noosa. (Approx 20 minutes you will come to a roundabout with sign saying turn right to Coolum Beach. Continue East along that road as far as you can go until you reach Esplanade (traffic lights)...Welcome to Coolum!!! Turn Right and about 3 doors along you will find THE BEACH RETREAT COOLUM - Enjoy your holiday.
