Operating 364 days a year, the company conducts a range of unique touring safaris to world heritage listed Fraser Island from Hervey Bay. Management and staff place an emphasis on service, comfort and education whilst offering ecologically sustainable touring products.
The Fraser Island Company is complimented by Fraser Island Wilderness Retreat, a boutique resort located on the eastern side of Fraser Island which is also owned and operated by the Boyd Family. In 2003, Fraser Island Company acquired Cathedral Beach Resort, Fraser Island's only private camp ground, set among 25 acres of native bush. Renamed Frasers at Cathedral Beach, this purchase is allowing the company to focus further on nature based products, with "camping in style" accommodation being the future of this property.
