The Point - Bargara Beach offers the ultimate beachside luxury 4½ star accommodation in the heart of Bargara. These boutique apartments have been architecturally designed to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, while at the same time providing an escape from the Queensland climate.

The Point Resort apartments are available in either one, two, or three-bedroom configurations, and are furnished in a sleek, contemporary style. This fantastic apartment complex is set within extensively landscaped tropical gardens and includes a resort style swimming pool and spa, a fully equipped outdoor glazed gymnasium, sun decks and a barbecue pavilion, all for the use of resort guests.

The Point - Bargara Beach apartments have an ensuite bathroom with spa bath, full kitchen facilities complemented with modern high quality appliances and an in- apartment laundry facility with washing machine and dryer for your convenience. All apartments have cable with 2 x televisions - 1 in the main bedroom and 1 in the living room, a DVD player, direct dial telephone and broadband is available in each apartment. At the end of a long day you can relax with a glass of wine or a cool drink on the private and spacious balcony of your apartment....a real home away from home.

Gymnasium - Keep yourself fit in our 'very well equipped' gym! Swimming Pool - Our Heated Pool and Spa provides for swimming all year round - 'beached entry' is perfect for children and easy access for Seniors! BBQ - Free use of our outdoor covered barbecue area which is most suitable for all ages, families, groups and couples. Nearby Activities Beach - The beach is safe and patrolled during summer holidays and weekends, plus the famous 'Basin" swimming area is a 'must' for kids! Playground - Just 4 minutes walk from The Point Resort is the famous "Turtle Tracks" kids playground. Turtles - Mon Repos Beach – Australia’s best known and most accessible Sea Turtle Rookery is located in Mon Repos, just a few kilometres north of The Point Resort. Nesting time is November to February and hatching is between January and the end of March. Rangers provide informative presentations and conduct guided tours onto the beach to see this natural marvel. Whale Watching - From July to the end of October the Humpback Whales come to the Great Sandy Straits on the calm side of Fraser Island to nurture their young. Cruises vary from dawn, half day or full day and include morning and afternoon tea and lunch on the longer cruises. Bushwalking -To the right and left of our front door beautiful and picturesque walking is available for everyone. Whether you wish to have a casual stroll down to the many shops and cafes of Bargara or wish to take more serious exercise, the 'boardwalk' will delight you with it's easy level walking and magnificent tropical views over the ocean. Bundaberg City - just 12 minutes drive from Bargara, has wonderful shopping, Airport, Restaurants, Coffee Lounges, The Gladys Moncrief Theatre, the Botanical Gardens and the Bert Hinkler Museum.

Tours - Lady Elliot Island is a short 20 minute flight from Bundaberg. Enjoy 6 hours on the Great Barrier Reef - a divers and snorkellers paradise. Included is a buffet lunch and either a glass bottomed boat adventure or a guided boat snorkel.

Lady Musgrave Island is situated 32 nautical miles from the town of 1770. Spend a wonderful day on the ocean enjoying the beauty of the coral gardens through a glass bottomed boat; or by snorkelling in the crystal clear waters watching the beautiful tropical fish, turtles and manta rays. Lunch is included.

City Tours - You can take an informative and organised tour of the city stopping at the following, Botanical Gardens and the Bert Hinkler Museum, Bundaberg Rum Distillery, The Big Barrell - for Bundaberg ginger beer and soft drink and Schneiders Cooperage. Of course if you have your own vehicle you can take yourself at your leisure to any of the places.

Bargara Golf Club - Right at our back door is Bargara Golf Club - An excellent championship 18 hole golf club. The layout is a typical links course with undulating fairways following the old sand dunes. It is in magnificent condition, well grassed with tree-lined fairways and a clubhouse overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Coral Cove Golf Club - This well maintained championship golf course featuring the longest hole in Australia provides a challenge for all golfers. With the Pacific Ocean as its backdrop, Coral Cove provides the perfect setting for your golfing day.

Getting to Bargara
By Car - follow the Bargara signs from Bundaberg for approximately 12 kilometres. Once at the beach, turn right and turn left at the next roundabout into The Esplanade. You will see "The Point" Resort a short distance on the right.

By Air - Qantas Link flights arrive directly to Bundaberg via Brisbane on a daily basis or direct flights by Virgin Blue and Jet Star arrive daily from Sydney to Hervey Bay - an easy 1½ drive south. You can hire a car or take a coach or taxi transfer to The Point - Bargara Beach. By Train - the Tilt train takes 4 hours from Brisbane to Bundaberg daily.
