Balloon + Skyrail + Kuranda Train + Tjapukai
05.00am - Pick-up at hotel by a Hot Air Cairns coach for your special package tour, one hour transfer, pickup times confirmed on booking.
06.30am - Experience the fun and unique sensation of hot air ballooning in the Atherton Tablelands, Australia. We fly at Mareeba in the Cairns Highlands (previously called the Atherton Tablelands) Enjoy the picturesque landscape at sunrise and enjoy 30 minutes flying time. Breathe in the wide-open spaces! We have Australia’s largest fleet of balloons and a fun and highly trained crew to maximise the fun of your morning.
08.00am - Return and Landing, balloon pack-up and lots of laughs.
08.30am - Come down to earth and enjoy breakfast at Cairns' Tjapukai Cultural Park, champagne, fresh juices, eggs and bacon, tropical fruits and a hot and cold buffet is all yours as you relax and look over the Skyrail valley, and have a browse at the selection of Cairns' souvenirs.
10.00am - Check in with your Down Under Tours representative. They will provide you with directions and timings for your package tour along with your Skyrail tickets. Enjoy Tjapukai History, Dance, Creation Theatre and Cultural Village.
Please note: that there is an additional charge per person Fuel and Kuranda levy to be paid on board on the day direct to Down Under Tours.
12.30pm - Prepare to board Skyrail for the journey through world heritage rainforest stop off at any of the stations en-route for a more informative look.
01.45pm - Arrive Kuranda -shop and relax. Take in lunch at a sidewalk restaurant (own cost). Market days are every day but strongest on Sun, Wed, Thurs, Friday.
03.15pm - Check in at the Kuranda Rail ticket office, for your journey down the scenic Barron Gorge to Freshwater Connection.
04.50pm - Train arrives at Freshwater Station, transfer to your accommodation via Down Under Tours.

Suggestion: If departing from Port Douglas we suggest the PD30T and S Tour (Balloon/Skyrail/Kuranda Train Tour) as an alternative as it returns you earlier in the day and Ballooning will be an early start! Itinerary times are approximate and are subject to change and we ask you to re-confirm the day prior.
