Note: During June there are regular whale sighting of Humpback and Southern Right Whales during the cruise. Our vessel migrates to the warmer waters of Hervey Bay/Fraser Island for July-November to witness first hand the Humpback whales and new calves making the return leg of their journey. Wildlife Coast Cruises - Kasey Lee, Hervey Bay

NOTE: Wildlife Coast Cruises donate 20% of income derived from onboard souvenir sales directly back into marine life conservation and research programs, with funds being donated to IFAW to support the fight, to prevent the cruel slaughtering of Harp Seals in Canada, where over 300,000 seals are slaughtered each year.

Some funds have also supported the Oceanic research program, which focuses on the research and conservation of the Southern Humpback whales and there environment, this year we will be looking to support a fight against the Japanese plans to kill over 50 Southern Humpback whales for the loosely termed scientific reasons, the stocks of these whales are very fragile, and only just starting to recover from the whaling days which only ceased in the 1970’s, this in itself could not only damage the recovery of the Humpback whale stocks, but be a economic disaster for the clean and green whale watching tourism Industry.
