Getting to Grand Mercure Allegra Hervey Bay
Situated in an idyllic location, Grand Mercure Apartments Allegra Hervey Bay is your gateway to Queensland’s World Heritage listed Fraser Island.

By Car: Grand Mercure Allegra is just a short scenic three and half hour drive North from Brisbane for visitors from South East Queensland or 4 hours South of Rockhampton for those guests traveling from Cairns and the Tropical North. On arrival into Hervey Bay you will be on Boat Harbour Drive - follow that through the commercial area past Bunnings which you will see up on the right. Travel a further 4km (approx) until you see a sign "Ann Street Shelley Beach" turn left there, follow that down to the second last intersection before the Esplanade - Cypress Street - turn left, travel just past the next intersection where you will see us on the right.

By Air: Both Jetstar and Virgin Blue are now offering direct flights into Hervey Bay from Sydney (90 minutes), with easy connections from Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart, Perth and Christchurch. The airport shuttle or taxi is a suitable way to get to the resort.

By Rail: Queensland Rail runs a tilt train service from far north Queensland to Brisbane. Your station will be the historic Maryborough West where a bus will make the final 36kms of your journey to your luxury resort accommodation.
