The newly named Ramada Resort Port Douglas is situated across several 3-storey buildings around a natural style lagoon swimming pool and waterways. The mix of hotel style rooms are themed with natural colours and feature plantation shutters to compliment the serene tropical setting that the resort offers.

In addition to the restaurant there is a casual bar as well as swim up bar from the lagoon pool. The Tree Bar and Grill offers a comprehensive tropical buffet breakfast (6.30am-9.30am), tempting lunches (12.00pm-2.00pm) and tasty in-between snacks all day. For dinner (6.00pm-9.30pm) the venue is transformed into an ambient a-la-carte restaurant. The rainforest trees are lit and the reflection from the waterfall and lagoon pool creates a unique tropical ambience akin to dining in the rainforest. Treetops Life Spa offers a unique spa experience with a meditation Labyrinth, nurturing relaxation areas surrounded by Melaluca forest and tropical gardens, and nine treatment rooms nestled in Tree Houses linked by covered walkways. Treatments include Lithos Stone Therapy, a full range of massage treatments, top-to-toe beauty treatments using Ahava products.
