Off Road Adventure Safaris specialise in private charter / soft adventure touring with customised itineraries. Our tours are designed for the discerning traveller - we provide our campers with the latest and most comfortable equipment to ensure that essential good night sleep, our accommodated tours utilise the facilities of the best we can offer, our menus are healthy, hearty and all inclusive.
Off Road Adventure Safaris has nationally qualified, professional, Tour Guides with extensive 4WD touring experience - all ready to show you the wonders of outback Australia. The tour rates include all additional tours listed on our itineraries and where applicable flights are also included. We carry a maximum of 6 clients per departure ensuring you the personalised attention you deserve.
For our camping tours our vehicles will be towing a full camp safari trailer equipped with all the creature comforts providing luxury camping whether utilising the facilities of designated sites or 'roughing it' in the bush. Personal luggage is also carried in the trailer leaving maximum free space in the vehicle.

For naturalists and bird enthusiasts ... we are able to take you into a range of special, out of the way, places and get you 'up close and personal' with the local wildlife.
If Aboriginal rock art and history is where your interest lies ... we can take you to remote occupation sites and shelters, as well as rock art galleries rarely seen by non-indigenous people.
If photography is your passion ... we will get you to the right place, at the right time, to take advantage of the natural lighting, magnificent sunsets and the unique beauty that Australia has to offer.
Note: Off Road Adventure Safaris is also able to provide logistics for Television and Film Crews, Researchers and Scientists in the field.
Off Road Adventure Safaris Tour Notes
What to Bring:
- Shorts, trousers and shirts for the tropics (clothing should be casual and footwear comfortable)
- Swimwear, a hat, sunglasses, insect repellent and sun protection
- Some form of fast-drying wet-shoe would prove useful on these tours
- Personal toiletries (Overseas guests will need to bring an adapter if using an electrical appliance)
- Don't forget to bring your video or camera - (recharge facilities are available) along with plenty of film/memory and spare batteries
- Money and/or credit card for personal expenses such as drinks, souvenirs and optional day tours
- You may wish to bring some alcohol - no glass bottles (please bear in mind alcohol restrictions apply in some areas visited)
Meals - Meals are provided as per your trip itinerary.
Camping Safaris - we provide continental breakfasts daily, consisting of fruit juice, cereals, tea and coffee, toast and jams - we even have several hot breakfasts included. Lunch and dinner where provided will consist of fresh salads and cold meats, sandwiches, pasta dishes, barbeques and cooked meals. An esky is available for storage of cold drinks and foods throughout the trip.
Accommodated Safaris - are catered and the meals are exceptional - cooked breakfasts most mornings, fresh sandwiches and wraps for lunch and 2 course dinners to finish the day and recharge the batteries ready for another busy day.
Fitness Level Required - Age is no barrier - health maybe. Our tours have been designed to suit a reasonable level of personal fitness. For maximum enjoyment, being able to walk some uneven nature trails, cope with remoteness, negotiate some rocky steps and handle some heat and native insects is essential.
Medical - Clients over 69 years of age are required to provide a clearance certificate from a General Practitioner. If you need special medication, it is advisable to bring your own adequate supply for the duration of the tour.
Luggage - Each passenger is entitled to take one bag (preferably soft sided) - 80cm x 30cm x 30cm. You may also have a small day bag or pack however most guests tend to carry a bottle of water and their cameras only. Additional holiday luggage can be stored securely prior to departure, however, baggage over the prescribed limit cannot be carried without prior arrangement.
Travel Insurance - is not included in the trip costs. We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances which may arise (including, but not limited to, health, baggage, loss of monies through cancellation, additional expenses incurred through illness or personal liability prior to travel and early return, for example following a family emergency).
