Mt. Selwyn - NEW SOUTH WALES
You have the choice of alpine skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing/snowtubing, cross country
skiing, or just playing in the snow. The natural snow cover of Mount Selwyn is enhanced by a
start of the art snow-making system that covers up to 80% of the mountain. There is no accommodation
on the snow so you have to stay 15 minutes or more from the slopes in the towns of Adaminaby and
Tumut and drive in each day. A summer programme is popular in this area with guests experiencing
horse riding, trout fishing, bush walking or mountain biking, or just relaxing.
Selwyn Snowfields offers some of the best beginners skiing in New South Wales. Offering a wide range of beginners and early intermediate slopes to choose from, Selwyn offers the complete snow experience for first timers. Downhill skiing is complemented by a wide range of cross country trails, snow play areas and even a dedicated toboggan run and tubing park - with its own lift.
